Be patient with this stage; a gentle approach is very important to prevent hair damage.
Clip your hair up just above the attachments so the bead are accesible.
Use your pliers on the ‘corners’ of the flattened bead to pop it open.
Once open, hold the hair at the root above the bead, and pull the bead and feather strand gently down and off the strand of hair.
If this does not happen easily, try pinching the bead and hair between finger and thumb, and using the other hand pull just the feather strand down and out of the bead. This should create more space for the bead to slide off the hair strand.
NOTE: Expect to see some strands of hair come out with the bead. This is nothing to worry about - our head naturally sheds hair everyday, so the beads will hold in place hairs that would have normally dropped day-to-day.
